After an investment to the amount of BNG 700 thousand and two-year repair works the pool in the town of Plachkovtsi, central Bulgaria, is opening this summer as a rather modern facility, Radio FOCUS – Veliko Tarnovo informs. The municipality had received means under Beautiful Bulgaria project for the reconstruction of the 50-year-old complex with two pools. Having in mind that the conditions provide for only the half of the financing the contribution of the local budget should not be underestimated as well, Mayor Dragomir Nikolov said. This would be the second swimming complex on the territory of the municipality which is confirming its tourist image and capacity.
The Tryavna municipal council has authorised the city mayor to request that the Bulgarian power regulator to include the municipality in the permit area of gas distributor Dunavgas, a unit of Overgas Inc. The Dunavgas project envisages the construction of 40 km of gas main and sales of 2.3 mln cu m of gas annually to 1,500 industrial and household customers.
