Sevlievo -based bathroom fixtures manufacturer Ideal Standard Bulgaria posted a rise in sales for 2008 but closed the year with a loss. Sales added up to BGN 87.75 million, mainly thanks to the higher prices of sold produce. The company swung to an after-tax loss of BGN 1.66 million from a profit of BGN 1.425 million for 2007, citing higher raw material and energy prices coupled with increased labour costs.
