| Swiss concern ABB gave the go-ahead to a project to build a $20 million (12.92 million euro) plant near Bulgaria’s second largest city Plovdiv , the concern said in a May 15 statement. | Metro Cash&Carry, the German chain of self-service wholesale warehouses, will spend over 30 mln levs on a hypermarket in the city of Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, said Elena Simeonova, head of corporate communications. It will be the chain`s 10th outlet in Bulgaria. The 2.0 ha plot that will be occupied by the store is located in the western industrial zone of the city. The retail space will total 7,000 sq m. PFC Litex Lovech has won for the third time the Bulgaria Cup by beating Cherno More 1-0. Litex`s young player Stanislav Manolev scored the only goal in the match in the 57th minute after a good pass by Tom. Although Litex was said to be the favourite in the match, Cherno More played equally well and the team from Varna had all the chances to reach to the victory. Miroslav Manolov from Cherno More and Tom from Litex were the best players in the match, often seen in goal positions. | An old man was found hanged in the village of Valchevtsi, Elena Municipality, District Police Directorate – Veliko Tarnovo informed. A signal for a 81-year old hanged man was received in the police department in the town of Elena on Wednesday evening. The police didn’t found marks of violence over the body of the man.
