There are no reasons for declaring of emergency situation on the market of the freight transport director of the National Transport Policy Directorate Dimitar Savov said at a press conference at the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport. According to Savov there is no reason to declare emergency situation on the market even in close future. According to him cargo transportation in the last seven years was increased double.

Bulgarian Mistier of Transport Petar Mutafchiev cut the ribbon at the opening of the repaired road in the village of Stroevo, Maritsa Municipality, Plovdiv district. Director of Regional Road Department Paun Ivanov told that the road is direct connection between Sofia and Plovdiv. The reparation work of the road took more than two months. The investment in the 3,5 km long section is at the amount of BGN 2 150 000.

Key factor for the transport field development is strategic geographic poison of Bulgaria, Bulgarian Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev said in a statement at the EU-US economic partnership conference. The Minister introduced the main goals of the strategy for transport development and Transport operative program. In general the program has already kicked off and all activities are in progress. The key goal is speeding the procedures of big infrastructural projects.
Minister Mutavchiev remained that it is expected the enlargement agreement of Sofia’s subway to be sighed till the end of the year.

Sofia Municipal Council is to decide Thursday if the regular ticket for one trip in the public transport of the Bulgarian capital would be increased to BGN 1 from the current BGN 0,7. The proposal over the 43% increase was filed by the Deputy Mayor Velizar Stoilov and the municipality`s Transport Commission Chair Radoslav Toshev. Daily boat line will link Bulgaria and Romania between the ports of Svishtov and Zimnich. The 200 place cruise ship with huge sunny deck will travel every day, per two times reaching and Romanian coast and going back to Bulgaria. 25 000 new motor vehicles have been sold for the first five months of this year, chairman of Management Board of Union of the Importers of Automobiles in Bulgaria, Stoyan Zhelev.
