The traffic from and to the Bulgarian coastal town of Burgas is ‘awful’ travelers reported for FOCUS News Agency. The situation is very difficult on the Sliven – Karnobat section. Drivers said at places they had to ’crawl’ at 20 km/h. The intense traffic is mainly a result of the large number of tourists going to and returning from the seaside to Sofia. Drivers are advised to drive carefully and have in mind that there is a large number of people who do irregular overtaking thus endangering the traffic further.

The new control tower of Sofia airport must be ready in 2010 or no later than 2011, the Director of RVD (Administration of Air Traffic) Emanuil Radev announced.
