Alitalia have cancelled flights between Rome and Sofia due to incoming strike, the airline announced Wednesday. The company cancels a total of 40 flights from and to Amsterdam, Belgrade, Bucharest, Kiev, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan, Nice, Paris, Sofia and Verona, which were to be serviced between 12am and 4pm Central European Summer Time, the company said in a statement published on its website. About 400,000 vehicles are registered per year, Commissar Aleksi Stratiev, Head of the Traffic Police department Sofia said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency.
